Piero della Francesca

Piero della Francesca (1415, Tuscany/ San Sepolcro - 12-10-1492, San Sepolcro)

Zapamiętałam misterną fryzurę i profil z cudowną linią nosa. Z wiekiem dołączyłam do tego wrażenia czystość plamy barwnej, niemal jej nieskalaność.

Portrait of Battista Sforza i saw first time on a postcard with photography in bad quality. I was then four maybe five. Remembered from it meticulous hairstyle and face profile with wonderful line of nose. With time, i added to this impression the purity of  colour patch, almost its immaculation

Caravaggio

Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio (29-09-1571, Milan - 18-07-1610, Porto Ercole)
Dzisiaj wracam do klasyki.  / Today i return to classic.

I had a trouble with classic masters, especially with baroque painters ( excluding netherlands ). In splendor of composition and " courtliness" of subject matter  the intimacy has been lost, the intimacy, which i also try to create in my works. So, i select these of his masterpieces, where it is hidden in chamber scenes
